Vindictiveness a challenge
In others and ones self
But something that needs facing
For ones spiritual wealth
Shall I fight vindictiveness
Or turn the other cheek?
Self righteousness an error
Not a quality of meek
To fight another’s Ego
Would but ones Satan feed
Who oft appears as angel
Of light sent to deceive
So come then now vindictiveness
I have about a shield
From brothers of true righteousness
And on such love I feed
And this love will protect me
From all the darts thus fired
For true love it over cometh
For true love is of the light
