Not by works

If God alone is what’s called love how can I be loving
Except I find the Christ within by which I am becoming
And when one finds The Christ within one feels the power of love
And then can lay aside the self and trust that of above
Now this love which is of God depends not upon our works
It is the prize that wise men find at the ending of the search
And all the pomp and circumstance are of no avail
So then be still and know I AM before and beyond the grave
And in the stillness of your room I will reveal to you
The blessing which is come of love which is truth of me and you
And then you’ll know the two are one and have forever been
The truth of all creation beyond this worldly scene.
