Do you know yourself my friend?
By yourself are you not bound?
And who can free you from this state
But one who is holy crowned
One who is at one with truth
As the truthful master is
Who sends you blessings come of God
Will you foolishly dismiss?
Or will you confess you have a need
Of forgiveness of your sin
Which arose when once you strayed
Thus in separation live
So come then now accept the gift
That Christ forever gives
So you may be at one with him
And recreated live.
