The Promised Land

Shall I judge by mere appearance
Or right judgement make?
Is the love of God not perfect
For all of heaven’s sake?
So then how does our God see?
Does he see with worldly eyes?
Is he deceived by what is called
The Father of the lies?
Surely a wise man would choose
To imitate our God
To see then all his brothers
In the light of what’s called love
Now this love is of our God
Not of worldly minds of man
So by and in the truth
All may reach the Promised Land
Now many are the seekers
Yet few are they who find
For they do not have the mind of Christ
But cling to their worldly minds
They do not overcome this world
Which by errors has been made
So yet wander as lost sheep
Until by Christ like minds are saved.
